Como sé que a muchos os interesa el tema del WIFI, os contaré mi experiencia en este tema. Ahora mismo me encuentro muy lejos de mi domicilio habitual, donde tengo una conexión "estable" a internet y demás, por motivos de trabajo paso temporadas lejos de mi casa (por tanto de mi conexión) y viviendo de alquiler en pisos en los que normalmente no hay ni tan siquiera instalación de telefono.Es por esto que me he visto obligado a introducirme en el mundo del WIFI, las antenas, tarjetas puntos de acceso, repetidores, ... en principio me interesé por un dispositivo USB que sirve de tarjeta WIFI que tiene conexión para antena (a éste pinchito se le puede poner un antenón y así pillar wifis lejanas) pero después descubrí otro método mucho más interesante y además (según mi experiencia) mucho más fácil de conseguir.
Consiste en hacerse de un repetidor, colocarlo en el balcón con una wena antena, claro, y que él se encargue de "amplificar" la señal que recibimos. Digo que es mejor opción que la anterior porque normalmente en los balcones, terrazas y azoteas es donde más redes (algunas de ellas abiertas) se pillan, pero no nos apetece estar con los portatiles por ahí buscando "la onda", además que, por otro lao, los vecinos nos pueden ver y darse cuenta de que algún friki de la informatica les está robando la señal, y al coscarse, pos ponerle una contraseña y a "tomal pol culo"; es mejor poner el repetidor, que es discreto, no le importa demasiado si hace frio o calor y encima hace el trabajo sucio por nosotros (además beneficia a más gente, no solo a nosotros).
